Take advantage of the two adult kayaks and life jackets provided to explore the river. The chalet is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and a BBQ with propane included. Admire the stunning view of the river from the beautiful veranda (available only in summer).
Inside, relax by the cozy fireplace. Outside, enjoy the fire pit area with firewood provided. The fully equipped kitchen includes coffee, oil, salt, and pepper for your convenience.
For boating enthusiasts, the boat launch is at the municipal dock, but a small boat can be launched directly from the chalet. The chalet is air-conditioned with two units, one in the bathroom window and the other in the bedroom window.
Explore the many kilometers of hiking trails, such as the Route des Zingues and Iroquoi, that wind through the Duhamel area. In winter, these trails are accessible for snowshoeing.
Visit the Skira Club, which offers over 40 km of trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or hiking, located around the Gagnon reception area of the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve, 16 km north of Duhamel.
Finally, enjoy the lively beach at Lac Simon, which often hosts evening shows. Note that the veranda is not available in winter.
